On May 20, 2015, Laura Sucreine of the magical school girl-themed idol group Afilia Saga announced her graduation and retirement from the industry via the Afilia Saga Official Blog.

In her post, Laura mentioned that “in order to proceed down a new path” and pursue her life’s dream of “making people smile”, she had chosen to graduate. While it would be lonely to no longer be able to meet fans and other members, she expressed her deepest gratitude to everyone from producers Shikura Chiyomaru and Halco Momoi, her “senpai” (senior group members), staff, and fans for their 4 years of support and kindness. However, she hinted that there may be a chance for them to meet again under different circumstances in the future. Closing with the announcement of her graduation performance at TSUTAYA O-WEST on May 28th, she urged fans to come and see “the me that will sing and dance on a stage” for the last time.
