Yurumerumo! zip up their tracksuits and cause mayhem in the streets with the MV for “Mendoi Shindoi PUNK Suru ka” from their mini-album “WE ARE A ROCK FESTIVAL” (release date: July 13)!
Producer Taichi Take composed and arranged the music as well as filmed and directed the MV, lyrics are by Ai Kobayashi. The band is made up of Kazuma Hashida from Hakoniwa no Shitsunaigaku on guitar, Souhei Mishima (cinema staff) on bass, and Yutori Takaishi on drums. The thumbnail photo for the YouTube video was shot by Die (ketchuparts/HONDALADY) and looks like it was inspired by the cover of the legendary Beastie Boys’ 3rd album “Check Your Head”.
“WE ARE A ROCK FESTIVAL” is limited to just 3,939 copies and 500 were released early during the July 10th live. Yurumerumo! are in the middle of their WE ARE A ROCK FESTIVAL TOUR which began on July 16th at Sapporo cube garden and wraps up at Ebisu LIQUIDROOM on October 24th
