Younapi Announces Release of 1st Solo Single “Return to My Innocence”!

Younapi from Yurumerumo! will be releasing her first solo single “Return to My Innocence” on November 9, 2015!

“Return to My Innocence” was composed and arranged by Junet Kobayashi (THE DHOLE, ex-TAMTAM) with lyrics by Ai Kobayashi. There is a another song on the single titled “Daisuki” which was also composed by Junet Kobayashi and it features lyrics by Younapi. It remains to be seen if a live video of that song will appear before November 9th. Here is a live video of Younapi performing “Return to My Innocence” in Daikanyama on September 28th.

“été” was composed and arranged by Kazuma Hashida from Hakoniwa no Shitsunaigaku with lyrics by Ai Kobayashi. Here is a live video of Younapi performing “été” in Daikanyama on September 28th.

Younapi designed the jacket for the single, wearing an outfit from the Harajuku antique shop marienkafer, where she held a solo art exhibition in September. The back cover features an illustration by mangaka kirisu, who is currently serialized in the Gekkan Comic Blade series meguraba.

“Return to My Innocence” will be available first at Ebisu BATICA where Younapi will be having a concert with Miss iD 2015 Grand Prix winner Shizu Mizuno titled “Younapi Minimum Ongaku-dan to Mizuno Shizu to Ebisu de Aki no Nakagoro!”. Younapi Minimum Ongaku-dan is another project she has in addition to Yurumerumo! and DJing as DJ YounaP. It is reported that there will also be a mail order option but nothing specific has been announced yet. However, Yurumerumo!’s second album “YOU ARE THE WORLD” will be available online as well as in store when it is released on November 11th. Stay tuned!
