Hong Kong Fans Give a Surprise Birthday Celebration for Yuri Nakae!

On June 28, TOKYO GIRLS’ STYLE performed in “KAWAii POP FES 2014” held at MUSIC ZONE, Hong Kong. They had the honor to sing the last song on the show.
Although it was the first performance in Hong Kong for the group, a lot of fans around Asia gathered at the venue to see TGS’s performance. They performed their popular songs such as “Kodou no Himitsu” and “Limited addiction” that has been also released in Asian countries as well as Japan.

Each time the intro begins to play, cheers rose from the audience. The upsurge just let us know how eagerly the TGS show was awaited.

In the second encore, the audience shouted “YU-RI-Chan! YU-RI-Chan!” to celebrate Yuri Nakae’s 17th birthday. Furthermore, all of fans welcomed again the members, waving a white glow stick and holding up a flower as birthday surprise.

Seeing the celebration by fans, Yuri Nakae said “I’m so happy! really really happy!”. The venue was wrapped with heart-warming atmosphere.
In the end, they took a commemorative photo with fans and end up their first Hong Kong performance in great success.

TOKYO GILRS’ STYLE will be holding the one-man concerts at Akasaka BLITZ straight for five months from July. In August, they will participate in the largest rock festival in Japan, “ROCK IN JAPAN FES.” Furthermore, they will perform at J-POP SUMMIT will be held in San Francisco in July. It will mark their first performance in North America.
