AKB48’s New Sister Group “STU48” Opens Auditions for 1st Generation Members!

AKB48‘s newest sister group, STU48, is looking for first generation members! The application period opens on January 16th and will run until February 5th at 23:59 (JST). Do you think you have what it takes?
STU48’s activities will be based around the 7 prefectures of Setouchi area (Yamaguchi, Hiroshima, Okayama, Hyogo, Ehime, Kagawa, and Tokushima). Their theatre will not based in any particular city; as it will be on a ship!
Applicant Qualifications
-Between 12 – 22 years old (as of February 5th, 2017)
-Able to appear on TV, web, and other media during the audition process
-Not signed with any model/talent agency
-Experience not required
-Able to be based in Hiroshima city and appear in live concerts at the STU48 theatre
-Able to sign with an agency provided by STU48

*Photos should not be selfies or group shot. No glasses, hats, jackets are allowed. For the full length shot, it should show below the knees. Applicants under 20 years old will require parental approval. No fabricated photos will be accepted.
Audition Process
First selection based on written documents
*Acceptance letters will only be sent to successful candidates.
*Please set your e-mail box to be able to receive e-mail from @stu48.co.jo domain.
Second selection based on interviews
Interviews will be held according to the schedule below in the following locations.
February 18 : Yamaguchi, Hiroshima
February 19 : Kagawa, Ehime
February 25 : Hyogo
February 26 : Tokushima, Okayama
As a brand-new sister group of AKB48, a lot of applications will be expected for STU48 but there might be a chance for you! Nationality does not matter! Why not try your talent and skill!
