SKE48 Show Their Nagoya Pride in the MV for “Coquettish Juutai Chuu”!

SKE48 has released the MV for their 17th single “Coquettish Juutai Chuu” (release date: March 31)! Hopefully, it is the beginning of the rest of the MVs from the single being revealed in quick succession as they approach the showdown with NMB48 who is releasing their 11th single “Don’t look back” on the same day.

Starting out at Spaceship Aqua on the roof of Oasis 21 in Sakae, the members then split up into groups, going to Nagoya TV Tower, the SKE48 Theater, an aquarium, and a busy shopping arcade. As they are performing, the onlookers spontaneously join in! It’s pretty impressive to see people breakdancing on the observation deck of Nagoya TV Tower but it is disappointing to see that the person in the panda suit holding the balloons isn’t dancing that much. Maybe it’s being saved for the end of the full version? The MV for “Coquettish Juutai Chuu” feels like a throwback to “Banzai Venus” or “1!2!3!4! Yoroshiku!” but without thousands of extras dancing behind them. However, maybe that will be the grand finale?

“Coquettish Juutai Chuu” will be sold in 9 different types: Type A-D limited (4), Type A-D regular (4), and a theater version (1). Aside from the cover art for the 9 different versions, no further details have been revealed at this time.
