Kobushi Factory announced via their official site on September 6, 2017 that Rena Ogawa would be graduating from the group.
Ogawa had been on hiatus since July of 2017 due to anxiety neurosis and it was explained that the decision for her to graduate from Kobushi Factory was made after consulting with the doctors responsible for treating her condition. While Ogawa will be “starting down a new path in life”, fans were assured that Kobushi Factory would keep going.
