Kamiyado Stand Tall in Utsunomiya to Open Autumn Kanto Tour!

Kamiyado kicked off their 6-City Kanto tour Kamiyado Kanto Tour 2017 ~ROAD TO 3rd ANNIVERSARY~ at Utsunomiya HELLO DOLLY in Tochigi on September 3rd!

With presale tickets for all dates selling out quickly, an afternoon performance which was added to the schedule, was also packed at Kamiyado began their autumn tour with a splash. There were 2 special points of interest included in the tour. First was the introduction of personalized microphones used by the members numbered by their ages. Starting with Miki Hashima (#1) all the way to Mika Ichinose (#5), it was a change from their early days when there were no differences in the equipment they used.

Second was the implementation of 3 stands on stage. As one of the objectives of the tour was to perform in more intimate venues with the distance between the members and kakifu (舁夫, Kamiyado term for fans), the stands made it easier to see the members on stage.

Naho Sekiguchi commented, “I want this tour to be an engine powering us along towards our 3rd anniversary!”. Hina Koyama promoted the special live to be held at La Foret Harajuku on September 23-34 by sharing, “It’ll be different than usual, there will be a fashion show, and many other things to look forward too!”. Mei Hashima added, “Because there will be a fashion show, there will be a catwalk, things you won’t normally see from Kamiyado. There will be things to be anticipated and things that will definitely stand out as well!”.

Kamiyado Kanto Tour 2017 ~ROAD TO 3rd ANNIVERSARY~ continues with dates in Ibaraki (September 9), Chiba (September 10), Gunma (September 16), Saitama (September 17), and Kanagawa (September 18). Their 3rd anniversary live Kami ga Yadoru Basho〜HARAJUKU DREAM〜 will take place at La Foret Harajuku on September 23-34.
