PASSPO☆ Reveal New Visuals and Announce Attention Points for Autumn Tour!

PASSPO☆ shows off another incarnation of their “American girl” look with a new artist photo. The concept behind the photo was the west coast of the United States and has the members attempting to hitch a ride to a new airport while surrounding a pink Cadillac in the parking lot of a drive-in. As with their previous artist photo and outfits, it has a nostalgic feel of how America used to be during a much simpler time.

Recently, the crew of PASSPO☆ released a video talking about several of the highlights that their passengers can look forward to during their upcoming 6th anniversary tour “PASSPO☆ Flight Tour ROCK Shuunen Tour Arigato-Bin”. Yes, the title is a play on words because “roku” is 6 in Japanese and also sounds like “rock” which is the style of music that PASSPO☆ is known for.

Here is a summary of the highlights mentioned:

1. There will be an “important announcement” made at the first day of the tour on September 13th at TSUTAYA O-EAST in Tokyo.

2. During the tour PASSPO☆ will be debuting new uniforms designed by Mio Masui and there will be new goods for sale.

3. There will be birthday lives happening during the tour (Ai Negishi – September 27, Mio Masui – October 6, Shiori Mori – November 8).

4. They are planning to perform songs that they haven’t in a while so if you go to all the flights, you will be able to hear them all!

5. PASSPO☆ will be performing as a band at the tour final at Shinagawa Stellar Ball.

The last “important announcement” was Petit PASSPO☆ on the day of Sako Makita’s final flight before beginning her temporary hiatus. With Makita having been the lead guitarist of band PASSPO☆, will she return for the finale or will Naomi Anzai (or someone else) surprise everyone by taking up the slack?
