Take a taste! PASSPO☆ Reveals American Drama Flavored MV for New Song “HONEY DISH”

Flight attendant-themed girls rock unit PASSPO☆ has revealed the music video for their new song “HONEY DISH” that will be included in their upcoming upcoming 5th album “Beef or Chicken?” (release date: May 13).

For this album, PASSPO☆ has mentioned that the theme would be more “American” sounding, which is reflected in their uniforms that resemble those worn by waitresses in an old-fashioned diner or drive-in. The lead track “HONEY DISH” is filled with the “American Pop” things, the MV also is completed as a faithful homage of the US-flavored cuteness. The PASSPO☆ crew (members) plan a party to celebrate a boy they like, but as they make preparations, they forget him and start partying by themselves and the party reaches its peak. And they welcome him with messy hair and faces covered with cream. It’s a comedic story.

This new song, composed with an energetic melody, and with PASSPO☆’s signature eight beat drum rhythm and guitar backing, is without doubt likely to become a new staple for the group’s repertoire.
The lyrics follow a girl who enthusiastically makes an attack on a shy boy. A powerful girlfriend is depicted, who enters her indecisive boyfriends home, uninvited, and starts living with him. What taste of honey are the girls portraying here in the love which fills this scenario?
