“Niconico Chokaigi 2019”, an annual festival organized by Japan’s largest social video website “Niconico”, was held in Makuhari Messe on April 27 and 28, 2019. Its concept is to recreate the Japanese internet culture in real life. This event offers a wide variety of contents, such as game, anime, vocaloid, dance, cosplay and so on. The number of visitors has reached 168,248 and internet visitors has reached 6,663,612.
Speaking of “Niconico Chokaigi”, One of the highlights is that cosplayers of various popular anime and game characters gather regardless of genre.
The virtual singer with high affinity with Niconico, heroines such as “Fate/Grand Order” came to there enjoyed taking pictures. Also, attractive official cosplayers have on stage at each company’s booth, and many people gathered at the shooting time.
