Nogizaka46’s Shiori Kubo Spreads the Charms of Miyagi in the New Video Series!

Shiori Kubo, a member of Nogizaka46’s third generation, will appear in a video series in which she visits her hometown, Miyagi, and introduces its charms.
In the first web video of the series (to be released on Tuesday, August 8th), she visits Sendai Castle (also known as Aoba Castle) that was constructed by Lord Date Masamune. This year marks the 450th anniversary of his birth. At the castle, Kubo enjoys the statue of Date Masamune on horseback and a panoramic view of Sendai city. Shen then visits Aoba Castle Museum to see their precious exhibits, where she talks about the origin of her name for the first time. Her fans can’t miss this scene.
This series will release five videos from August until December, one video per month. On its special website, you can watch a short movie prior to the main videos. Not only their website, but also their Facebook page introduces the various charms of Miyagi in more details. It aims to make people from all over Japan and the world to feel the charms of Sendai, Miyagi and to actually visit Sendai.
