AKB48 bask in the sunshine and take in the sights of Okinawa in the MV for their 49th single “#Sukinanda” (release date: August 30)!
The MV is directed by Eita Takahashi, who was responsible for many of AKB48’s past MVs and their series of documentaries and returns the top 16 vote getters from the 49th Single Senbatsu Sousenkyo to Okinawa, providing a sort of redemption for the unfortunate bad weather which lead to the results being announced without an audience. “#Sukinanda” is also the long-awaited return of AKB48 to releasing a traditional idol-sounding summer song, the sound that they are probably best known for. Rino Sashihara, who claimed the top spot for the 3rd year in a row, plays a tour guide for Mayu Watanabe (#2) who is in Okinawa for her graduation trip. Here is a list of the many “Instaworthy” locations shown throughout the MV!
Nakagusuku Castle Ruins
Toya Fishing Port
Senaga Island
Naha Kokusaidori
Okinawa World
