Imitation Makeup Artist Zawachin Becomes Penelope Cruz at LANCOME’s Event!

LANCOME, celebrating their 80th anniversary in Japan, held an event to announce their new Grandiose mascara.

There were samples of the new products, a photo booth, LANCOME- esque decorations, and sweets decorated with LANCOME designs. Influential models and bloggers like Ayumi Seto, Culumi Nakada, and Una graced the venue.

As a special guest, celebrity makeup impersonator Zawachin appeared. She came styled as LANCOME’s muse, Penelope Cruz, and did a demonstration on how to achieve this look. (She normally hides the bottom half of her face because it is too difficult to change the mouth and jawline.)

During the second half of the party AyaBambi, who gained attention after performing as the back dancers for Shiina Ringo’s performance on Red and White Song Battle, performed choreography inspired by Grandiose.
