“Kuroi Boudou♥︎” puts a spotlight on the tanned flashy gals called “Ganguro gyaru” who are in their thirties now, and the movie will be on screen in summer 2016.
The movie focuses on the era as ganguro gals which they entertained themselves dancing parapara, a dance that gals favored, and the gals in the thirties who live the hard life compared to the flashy days that they enjoyed. The members of Black Diamond, which is known as strongly tanned gal unit and are the staffs of Ganguro Cafe, will be acting the gals in the high school days. (Read our Ganguro Cafe experience here!)
Kenichi Unaga takes the megaphone of the movie which is his first time directing a long film. Unaga referred the gals as “a rock n’ roll culture that only happened at that time era in Japanese girls” and he will smash in the strong attachment into the movie.
Linking with the movie, in the “Alternative Cafe & Bar VANDALISM Shibuya”, produced by Unaga, will open a “Ganguro Cafe ~Night Owl Opening~”. It is available every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 0:00 to 5:00 am, starting from December for a limited time only.
