Juice=Juice have released the slightly French MV for “Ça va ? Ça va ?” from their double A-side single “Wonderful World / Ça va ? Ça va ?” (release date: April 8).
“Ça va ? Ça va ?” is a song about a girl scorned by an unfaithful lover in the style of different retro French pop styles. There are samples of French phrases mixed in with accordions, horns, and surf guitar riffs. For those who speak French or are familiar with 1960’s French pop music, what was your reaction to this song? Why do the lyrics mention lip-biting and jeans but the video doesn’t have any of either? Regardless, it is a cute video for a unique song.
“Wonderful World / Ca va ? Ca va ?” will be released in 4 different limited edition and 2 regular versions. The DVD contents of the 4 limited edition version are : “Wonderful World” MV (Type-A), “Ça va ? Ça va ?” MV (Type-B), Dance Shot MV for “Wonderful World” and making of the MV and jacket photo (Type-C), and Dance Shot MV for “Ça va ? Ça va ?” and making of the MV and jacket photo.
