Juice=Juice raised their glasses as they held a release event for their double A-side 9th single “Jidanda Dance/Feel! Kanjiruyo!” (release date: April 26th) at CUTUP STUDIO in Shibuya Tower Records on April 25, 2017.
In addition to a 6 song mini-live that excited the fans, Juice=Juice shared their thoughts about “Jidanda Dance/Feel! Kanjiruyo!” and their upcoming world tour. Tomoko Kanazawa pointed out that “Jidanda Dance” was the group’s first comical song, immediately striking the pose included in the choreography that closely resembles the “Sheeeh!” gag made popular by Iyami from Osomatsu-san. Yuka Miyazaki added that “Feel! Kanjiruyo!” was unusual since it was a song with almost no movement from beginning to end, feeling that they had to focus on reaching fans with the lyrics and their singing. Sayuki Takagi, who just celebrated her 20th birthday looked forward to sharing Japanese festival culture through “Jidanda Dance” during their world tour while also vowing to be more careful after becoming an adult.
On the topic of their inheriting the legacy of ℃-ute, who will be disbanding on June 12, 2017, the members of Juice=Juice felt sadness that their respected senpai would be leaving but also pressure to fill the void left behind. Tomoko Kanazawa specifically pointing out that they would become the Hello! Project group with the highest average range after ℃-ute’s disbandment.
Regarding the upcoming world tour with dates in Mexico, United States, England, France, Germany, Malaysia, and Thailand, Karin Miyamoto expressed her desire to see a musical in the United States and try eating authentic French bread in France. Akari Umemura was more general, simply wishing that she would be able to do some sightseeing in each country. Sayuki Takagi specifically hoped that they would be able to take a photo at Abbey Road in the UK. Yuka Miyazaki wondered what the toothbrushes in the hotels overseas would be like. Tomoko Kanazawa recalled someone requesting an unusual souvenir from Mexico.
“Jidanda Dance/Feel! Kanjiruyo!” was released in 3 limited editions and 2 regular versions. Limited edition Type-A includes the MV for “Jidanda Dance”, limited edition Type-B includes the MV for “Feel! Kanjiruyo!”, and limited edition Type-C includes the dance MVs for “Jidanda Dance” and “Feel! Kanjiruyo!”. Each limited edition is packaged with a serial number card for a Juice=Juice event.
