A female duo “Inshow-ha” releases their 1st mini album “Nietzsche” on June 19th.
Inshow-ha is a duo consisting of mica on vocals and keyboards, and miu on guitar.
They became a buzz among early listeners after the 2011 Tower-Records-only release of “ENDLESS SWIMMER/HIGHVISION” and “SWAP” in 2012, and now, the band that had been veiled in mystery finally releases their 1st mini album nationwide. Inshow-ha’s songs are rich in variety, from trance to punk to psychedelic, and there is no single approach to their writing.
he album’s cohesiveness, however, comes from the 100% sequencer-free groove and the band’s ingenious sense of pop music topped by miu’s super-creative and erotic, yet socially-conscious lyrics.
A genius music video director Kousuke Sugimoto directed the music video for the single “SWAP”, and created an eerie yet new-wave, and bright yet dark music video. The album is quite possibly the most important album of the first half of 2013, both for its music and the visuals.
