Hot 10 Idols’ Gravure Battle “SAKIDOL ACE SURVIVAL SEASON 6” Just Begins!

The popular series of Weekly Young Jump has just started a hot battle of idols titled “SAKIDOL ACE SURVIVAL” once again after one year. This is a project where representative members of several idol groups compete for getting the right to appear on the magazine. After a winner is chosen through a readers’ survey, all the members of the group where the winner is belonging to, will be able to appear the cover of the magazine.
In the past, Minami Sengoku from UPUPGIRLS (KARI) won the first competition and her sexy gravure made her name known nationwide. Last year, Niji no Conquistador won the competition. Following the last year, 10 groups that will brighten up the future of Japanese idol industry are participating in the competition.
The video messages from the candidates for the round 1 have been published on YouTube. Each member introduces herself and her group, gives her impression about the gravure photoshoot, and sends messages to Weekly Young Jump readers.
The rule for the round 1 is ; fans vote for their favorite gravure idol by sending a card included in the magazine’s December 15th issue . Of course, the magazine readers can see the gravure shots of the 10 idols on the issue.
