New Footage Featured Evangelion! Studio Khara Releases MV for Utada Hikaru “Beautiful World”

Along with the release of the tribute album “Utada Hikaru no Uta -13 Kumi no Ongakuka ni Yoru 13 no Kaishaku ni Tsuite-” (release date :December 9) commemorating the 15 year anniversary of her debut, a director Kazuya Tsurumaki and Studio Khara released the music video for “Beautiful World“. This video was created by editing the scenes from three Evangelion movie series released in the past, and also using new Evangelion footage never been released to the public before.
Kazuya Tsurumaki commented about this promotion video : “Credits roll at the end of the movies are not just staff rolls. I’ve been always thinking that it should be something to elevate the movie higher grade, same as the story, the characters, and the direction in the movie do. If you watched our movies until the end, then maybe you will understand what this means. We are thankful to have the (Rebuild of Evangelion) movies coupled with Utada Hikaru’s songs.”

In addition to the release of the album’s track list, other cover songs provided by various artists have been published on YouTube.
