Don’t be Late! FYT to Unveil MV for Debut Single “Gakuen Jigoku” and Stream First Solo Concert on Niconico!

Schoolteacher-themed idol group FYT (pronounced “fight”, short for Funky Yankee Teachers) will be showing the MV for their single “Gakuen Jigoku” (release date: December 17) and previewing the coupling songs on Japanese streaming site Niconico on December 12 from 8:20pm until 8:30pm. Unless you were one of the few people who managed to see them perform live, very little has been revealed about this group aside from the 20-second preview of the song in the teaser for the single.

However, if you miss seeing the MV, there is still some good news! FYT will be having their first solo concert at Hatsudai DOORS on December 17, and the evening show will be streamed live on Niconico!

While the students in the teaser look way too scary to be real (and way too old to be still in high school), let’s hope that FYT can help them change for the better just as Great Teacher Onizuka and Gokusen were able to do for theirs. Yes, there is a typo in the teaser but with students as bad as those, sometimes minor details get overlooked for the sake of education.
