The MV for Flower‘s “Sayonara Alice”, the second song from their upcoming double A-side single “Sayonara Alice/TOMORROW ~Shiawase no Housoku~” (release date: February 18) is out now!
In Flower’s first single since the departure of vocalist Chiharu Muto last year, “Sayonara Alice” is a heartbreaking song bidding farewell to a loved one. As if it wasn’t enough to the have director Mika Ninagawa (AKB48 – “Heavy Rotation”) create a brightly colored world where an abandoned amusement park is inhabited by dancing woodland fairies, performer Shuuka Fujii takes on the challenge of playing an inconsolable man trapped in a glass case of emotions.
The other song on the single, “TOMORROW ~Shiawase no Housoku~”, is the theme song of the Japanese-dubbed version of the 2014 film adaptation of the musical Annie. “Sayonara Alice/TOMORROW ~Shiawase no Housoku~” comes in three versions: a limited edition version with a DVD featuring the MVs for both songs, a CD-only regular version with the instrumentals for the songs included, and a limited CD-only version with only the two songs on it.
