Flap Girls’ School Dream of Sunny Beach Weather in the MV for “Summer Days Dance”!

Flap Girls’ School have cracked open the MV for their upcoming 4th single “Summer Days Dance” (release date: August 18)! It is their first single since Chie Takano’s departure from the group in April 2015 to focus more on her studies.

Beginning with a calendar theme, the members of Flap Girls’ School wander through the days of the year before pausing in the summer months to dance on the veranda of a Japanese home with teru teru bozu (照る照る坊主, handmade dolls believed to ward off bad weather, particularly rain) handing from the doorway. Imagining their ideal summer beach experiences, the members of Flap Girls’ School even assume the positions of those actions while sleeping! As they finish out the year, they make even the winter months have a warm tropical feeling!

“Summer Days Dance” will be released in 4 different versions. Sadly, they are just Type-A through D and not Type-F, Type-L, Type-A, and Type-P like their previous single “Habatake Tsubasa”. The coupling song for Type-A and Type-C is “MOVING THE WORLD” and for Type-B and Type-D, the coupling song is titled “Taisetsu na Kimi Dakara”. In addition to holding several release events for the single, Flap Girls’ School will be appearing at Tokyo Idol Festival and @JAM EXPO in August!
