The MVs for “Konna ni mo” and “Kibou no Hikari~Kiseki wo Shinjite~” from Dream‘s upcoming single “Konna ni mo” (release date: February 11) were released.
With the subtitle “St. Valentine’s Day Story”, the MV for “Konna ni mo” shows the four members of Dream dealing with bad relationships, a theme sure to hit a nerve with anyone who’s experienced heartbreak. Not only does Dream sing powerfully and dance gracefully but they also play the role of spurned women to a tee. Even though it’s acting, some might wonder “If the lovely ladies of Dream get stood up on Valentine’s Day, what hope do I have?”.
“Kibou no Hikari~Kiseki wo Shinjite~” is also a slow song but it is a song written specially for Dream by Atsushi, one of the vocalists of EXILE. The title translates to “Light of Hope~Believe in a Miracle” and is a nice contrast to the sad story of “Konna ni mo”. In the video, the members of Dream are shown in the studio recording the song as Atsushi supervises and makes sure everything turns out perfect.
The single comes in 2 different versions and the CD+DVD version includes the full MV for “Konna ni mo” as well as behind the scenes footage and a bonus movie for “Kibou no Hikari~Kiseki wo Shinjite~”. The CD for both versions also include a third song titled “One First Kiss”. Actually, there is a third CD version also but it only has “Konna ni mo” and costs ¥500.
