The New ClariS Starts Off with the New Theme Song for Anime “Tsuki-monogatari”!

The new CD artwork of “border”, releasing on January 7th, 2015, by ClariS has been disclosure to the public.

ClariS is a face anonymous group with two girls, Clara and Karen. The debut single, “irony” has become a huge hit as an opening theme song for the anime, “Oreimo (My Sister Can’t Be This Cute)” on 2010. Continuously, it has brought many huge hits by tying up with animation. However, on June 2014, it announced the graduation of the first member, Alice with the release of their third album, “PARTY TIME”. At the same year, on November, ClariS announced the new member, Karen to sing as ClariS with Clara.

“border” is the first single that Karen, the new member, entered ClariS. This song takes up the opening song for the anime, “Tsuki-monogatari”, which will be on air on December 31 at TOKYO MX, BS11, and Nico Nico Douga.

The single has three types; One-off Production, Time Limited Production, and the Standard Production. The Time Limited Production single uses the illustration of “Tsuki-monogatari”’s heroine, Yotsugi Ononoki. The illustration design is drawn by Taisuke Iwasaki, and the supervised by the supervision of the Monogatari series, Akio Watanabe. Also, the one-off and standard production jackets are designed as a paper-cutting motif to illustrate the elegant of ClariS.
