Babyraids JAPAN has turned back the clock a bit with the MV for “Pretty Little Baby” (release date: August 19)!
“Pretty Little Baby” is a remake of the Connie Francis song originally composed by Bill Nauman and Don Stirling, which has Japanese lyrics and rearrangement by Masashi Watarai (FoZZtone). Babyraids JAPAN have undergone another image change as their outfits sport a black and white checkerboard motif combined with varying shades of gold. Although the set that they are performing in lacks the expected splash of retro Americana, there is some pop art animation applied to the members of Babyraids JAPAN in the latter half of the MV.
“Pretty Little Baby” will be released in 2 limited edition CD/DVD versions (Type-A, Type-B) and a regular CD-only version. The DVD for Type-A includes the MV and behind the scenes video from the photoshoot for the CD jacket and 3 songs from the June 19, 2015 performance from their “SPRING TOUR 2015 -IDOROCK SENSATION-” at KAWASAKI CLUB CITTA’: “TIGER SOUL”, “Pretty Little Baby”, and “Yoake Brand New Days”. The DVD for Type-B includes the MV, dance version, and behind the scenes video from the MV as well as 3 songs from the June 19, 2015 performance from their “SPRING TOUR 2015 -IDOROCK SENSATION-” at KAWASAKI CLUB CITTA’: “Baby Revolution”, “SHOW TIME”, and “Tora Tora Tiger!”. The coupling song for all 3 versions is titled “Pondering”, which was composed and arranged by Toshinari Ohnishi (IVORY7CHORD). Type-A includes a 3rd song titled “SHOW TIME”, which has lyrics and music by Hidenori Naganuma and is arranged by his band VELTPUNCH. ”Hitomebore Hatsukoi Moyou”, which has lyrics by Ika☆Naizo and is composed and arranged by Kuboty (TOTALFAT)
