An Unprecedented Encore: Babyraids JAPAN Performs at @JAM EXPO 2018 For The Last Stage

On August 25, 2018 Babyraids JAPAN performed on the main stage of @JAM EXPO 2018, held at Yokohama Arena. For the group, which is disbanding on September 24, it was the last performance at an idol festival.
When the time came, the screen came to life with a message: “One month till last live on 2018.9.24”. It was then followed by a special video of the members expressing their thoughts towards their disbandment. The end of the video segued into the start of their last @JAM EXPO stage with a performance of “TIGER SOUL”, a song hugely popular with the Toragaa (Babyraids JAPAN fans) that immediately got the venue fired up. “Koyomi no Ue dewa December” followed, drawing cheers from the audience the instant its introduction played. During the chorus the fans danced along to the choreography with everyone enjoying themselves. The girls moved to the center stage, where they performed the third song “Tora Tora Tiger!!”, “Senkou Beliver”, “Baby Revolution” and “Nandodemo” before finishing with the 7th number “Bokura wa Koko ni Iru” where Manatsu Hayashi’s powerful voice moved the audience to tears.
Leader Erika Denya expressed her thoughts: “I always loved the scenery that we could see here because of @JAM. On September 24 we will be able to see Mount Fuji from the huge stage of our last live, so I want to enjoy that day with many people.”
The applause continued as it gave way to an encore call unprecedented at an idol festival. The five members reemerged on stage, and when the intro of “Yoake Brand New Days” played they were met with deafening cheers. Illuminated by the light, the beautiful members formed a magnificent view together with the passion of the audience. It became a brilliant final stage that would remain in many of the fans’ hearts for a long time.
