Babyraids JAPAN Reveal Their Emotional Idorock in the MV for “Eikou Sunrise”

Babyraids JAPAN have released the MV for their 9th single “Eikou Sunrise” (release date: April 1). It is their first single since their name change and image makeover.
Filmed almost completely in black and white, except for the red accents on their outfits and Manatsu Hayashi’s bright blonde hair, there’s a more polished feel compared to the wild and crazy MVs that they used to do in their early days but, there’s also some fun choreography too. Most importantly, there are slow-motion shots of the members jumping into the air! Rikako Oya looks like she’s going to float away!
“Eikou Sunrise” comes in limited edition Type-A and Type-B (CD & DVD) as well as a regular version (CD). The coupling song on all versions, “Yoake Brand New Days” also has a “sunrise” theme (“yoake” is Japanese for “dawn” or “daybreak”). The third song on the Type-A version is “Nonfiction Story” and for the Type-B version it is “Sekai wa Cha-Cha-Cha!” The CD-only regular version does not have a third song on it.
Contents for the Type-A version DVD are a behind the scenes movie of the cover art photoshoot and the first part of highlights from “Toranomon Retsuden”, their webseries. The DVD for Type-B includes the second half of highlights from “Toranomon Retsuden” as well as a dance version MV for “Eikou Sunrise” and a behind the scenes movie from the filming of the MV. Both DVDs also include the MV for “Eikou Sunrise”.
Babyraids JAPAN will be releasing the DVD of their 1st Nippon Budokan concert on March 18th and starting their spring tour “Babyraids JAPAN SPRING TOUR 2015 -IDOROCK SENSATION-” on March 20th.
