BABYMETAL’s Tenka-Ichi Metal Budoukai With 30,000 Audiences! They Have Announced Their First Tour In Japan!

BABYMETAL, “kawaii” metal idol unit, is currently on the second world tour and just finished the Japan’s concert, “BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2015 ~Kyodai Tenka-ichi Metal Budoukai~” on June 21, 2015 (Sun). The tickets to this show was immediately sold-out, which also need to enact live-viewing in 24 movie theaters across the country, and as a result, the live show gathered about 30,000 audiences all together.
Right after the show, BABYMETAL have officially announced the additional world tour concert for Japan at six different locations, total of 10 concerts, “BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2015 in JAPAN” and to finish, they have announced 2-days one man concert at one of the biggest venues in Japan, Yokohama Arena in Kanagawa prefecture.
In May, BABYMETAL started their world tour in Mexico, and toured around the United States and Europe, performing at big rock festivals. Lately, they were awarded by British metal magazines “KERRANG!” and “METAL HAMMER”, and they made a special, surprise appearance with Dragon Force at Download Festival 2015, which became big news in Japan, as well as around the world. They came back to their home country, since their performance at Saitama Super Arena in January, and they have proven their growth from their experiencing performances abroad.
BABYMETAL appeared from the big pyramid that was placed in the middle, and started full-throttle with “BABYMETAL DEATH,” and “Gimme Chocolate!” Each of the members also kindled the audiences by yelling, “Thank you for coming today!” (MOAMETAL) “Shout even more!” (YUIMETAL). As SU-METAL yells to the audiences, “Let’s sing together!”, the crowd sang together that the chorus vibrated inside the venue. The show proceeded with no talks, or no encores, as if it was a one-game match that audiences have raised it’s heat from the very start. They performed “Ijime Dame Zettai,” “Road of Resistance,” including unannounced songs, 16 songs in total, non-stop.
BABYMETAL is already confirmed to perform one-man concert in Germany, and in Britian’s rock festival “Readings and Leeds Festival.” Before their domestic tour, BABYMETAL is already confirmed their performance at “Summer Sonic 2015,” in Tokyo and Osaka.
