Asuka Saito and Miona Hori disrupt classes with their unforgettable and perplexing MV for “Ano Kyoushitsu” from Nogizaka46‘s 16th single “Sayonara no Imi” (release date: November 9)!

Opening with Asuka Saito being scolded by a teacher for wearing a paper bag with mysterious designs drawn on it over her head, she makes her escape and enters a world halfway between fantasy and reality. The unique choreography was created by idevian crew. Also of particular note are the socks that Hori and Saito are wearing in the MV as they change throughout the scenes (30 different pairs were prepared). The deeper meaning behind the story is difficult to understand, especially as it ends with Hori wearing a bag on her head and scaring the teacher and a student with an eerie laugh while Saito sits alone on the rooftop of the school. As usual, the full version will only be online for a limited time.

“Sayonara no Imi” will be released in 4 CD/DVD limited editions and a CD regular version. The Type-A exclusive song is “Ano Kyoushitsu” by Asuka Saito and Miona Hori. The Type-B exclusive song is “Buranko” by the Under Members. The Type-C song is “2-do-me no Kiss Kara” by Manatsu Respect Corps. The Type-D exclusive song is “Kimi ni Okuru Hana ga nai” by Cinq Étoiles. The regular version exclusive song is “Naimononedari” by Nanami Hashimoto. The coupling song for all versions is “Kodoku na Aozora” with Nanami Hashimoto as the center.
