ANGERME shed the tears of a clown in the bittersweet MV for “Itoshima Distance” from their upcoming triple A-side single “Tsugitsugi Zokuzoku / Itoshima Distance / Koi nara Tokku ni Hajimatteru” (release date: April 27)!
“Itoshima Distance” contains many references to places or things from Kyushu, including the famous Christmas illuminations around Kego Park in the Tenjin downtown area of Fukuoka city, the Itoshima seaside area and Futamigaura beach with its pair of sacred rocks bound together by a rope, cosmos on Noko Island, goboten (burdock root tempura) udon; the lyrics even utilize Hakata-ben, the dialect of the region. Despite all the southern imagery, it seems that the indoor scenes were filmed at afite Meguro in Tokyo. The music was composed by Sho Hoshino and lyrics written by Mari-Joe with arrangement by Kaoru Okubo.
