The MV for charismatic twin sister fashion models and “Tokyo Pop” musical artists AMIAYA‘s latest single “PINK LADY MASH UP 2015”, which went on sale New Year’s Eve, has finally landed!
AMIAYA combine several of Pink Lady’s hit songs with images that were pulled straight from the imaginations of Sebastian Masuda (art director for Kyary Pamyu Pamyu) and Guillermo Del Toro (director of Hellboy and Pan’s Labyrinth). While we normally try to describe more of what happens in a MV, in this case it might be better to not ruin the surprise. Let’s just say that maybe you shouldn’t watch it at work or during class.
Pink Lady is a Japanese pop duo that had several hit songs during the late 1970’s and were the first female Japanese artists to break into the US market with their BIllboard Top 40 hit “KIss in the Dark”. Their songs have been covered by Morning Musume and many other groups/artists throughout the years. Amazingly enough, Pink Lady still performs today! Perhaps there is a chance that they might collaborate with AMIAYA someday too?
