On July 30th, AKB48 has released the trailer of the MV for their new song “Kokoro no Placard”. In this video, Mayu Watanabe (a.k.a. Mayuyu) dances as a center position because she was elected for No.1 by general election few months ago.
*Full version (updated on December 2nd)
What “Kokoro no Placard” means? Literally it means “Placard in my heart” but translate it free, it means ‘real feelings in my heart’, implying that ‘put real feelings in your heart on placard and tell it to someone whom you want to tell it’. In the MV, you could see many people holding placard with their own messages. Most of them are heart warming like “Thank you mother, always” “I love you, Syu” “Want to go university in Tokyo!”, but some funny messages as well like “I’m not fat, I’m just chubby a little bit” and “Give back my video games I rent you!!”.
However, what makes this MV hot topics of conversation is that, this MV is reminded of their MV “Koisuru Fortune Cookie” very much. The MV created a kind of internet phenomenon, as the dance of the song is very easy to copy so everyone can copy. Children and adults, company employees, taxi drivers, and students try dancing to the song and upload their videos on YouTube. As you might notice, the dance of “Kokoro no Placard” looks much easier than that of “Koisuru Fortune Cookie”. Moreover, don’t you think it must be much fun to hold own placard real feelings are on with your friends? Probably, this MV will create bigger-scale phenomenon than last one.
And actually, there already appears “Kokoro no Placard” copy video by AKB48 staffs.
They are holding the placards with their real feelings such as “Marry me please” and “I want to spend time more with my children”. Sometime it’s funny but after watching it you’ll feel heart-warmed! Let’s check out both the videos!
