AKB48’s Amina Sato Announces Graduation to become Voice Actress

AKB48 team K member Amina Sato announced that she would graduate from the group.
The announcement was made during the team K performance at AKB48 theater on December 22. She explained that it is because she want to chase her dream to become a voice actress. The detailed schedule such as her graduation date has been undecided at this moment.
Amina Sato joined the group in 2007, and after her activities as a Kenkyuusei, she was promoted to former team A in April 2008. She was ranked number 8 in “The 1st AKB48 Senbatsu General Election” held in 2009 which allowed her to become one of the Senbatsu members for the first time.
She also passed the voice actress audition for TV anime series “AKB0048” that was aired from April, 2012. Additionally, she was also a part of voice actress unit “NO NAME.”
Sato posted her blog, “Did I make you surprised for my suddenly announcement? But, I’ve made up my mind. I have no regret about it. I’m just charging head first towards my dream!!!”
