Check Out the Footage of MV Shooting for AKB48’s Upcoming Single!

AKB48 has released the footage of MV shooting for their upcoming single titled titled “Koisuru Fortune Cookie“, which is the first single Rino Sashihara serves as the center.
The footage tells us that the MV was shot in Fukuoka, hometown of HKT48 that Sashihara currently belongs to.
Reportedly, one of the reasons why the MV was shot in Fukuoka was that it was the hometown of member Shinoda Mariko, who will be graduating from the group next month.
According to the footage, around 3,000 fans rushed there, and took part in the shooting.
In the video, Sashihara herself interviewed several members about the new song.
Watanabe Mayu said, “It makes you feel like telling your fortunes.”
Tomomi Itano gave hints on the new song, “It’s like a parade. It is a merry tune that everyone can enjoy the choreography together.”
Minami Takahashi added, “It is a good old disco tune. I think, it’s the first time that 3000 extras could master the choreography immediately and dance together with us.”
Apparently, AKB48’s new song is going to be a danceable song that everyone can enjoy.
The song will be released on August 21st.
