AKB48 Announces 44th Single Lineup & Senbatsu Election Date

On March 21, 2016, AKB48 announced the lineup and release date of its 44th single during the individual handshake event.

The senbatsu members are:
Anna Iriyama, Ryoka Oshima, Shizuka Oya, Nana Okada, Yuki Kashiwagi, Minami Kato, Rena Kato, Saya Kawamoto, Yuria Kizaki, Ryoha Kitagawa, Rie Kitahara, Haruna Kojima, Mako Kojima, Haruka Kodama, Rara Goto, Rino Sashihara, Haruka Shimazaki, Miru Shiroma, Ririka Suto, Moeka Takakura, Juri Takahashi, Yui Hiwatashi, Jurina Matsui, Minami Minegishi, Miho Miyazaki, Sakura Miyawaki, Mion Mukaichi, Tomu Mutou, Nanami Yamada, Sayaka Yamamoto, Yui Yokoyama and Mayu Watanabe

The single will be released on June 1, 2016 and the center is Mion Mukaichi.

It was also announced that the 8th Senbatsu Election for 45th Single will take place at Hard-Off Eco Stadium in Niigata on June 18, 2016.
