9nine Announces New Album “MAGI9 PLAYLAND” During Nakano One-man Live!

On April 26, 9nine held their one-man live “Wonder Live In Sun Plaza” at Nakano San Plaza. It could be said like a “prologue” for their Budokan concert to be held on August 21.

For this Nakano live, 9nine set a concept of “wonder”, and they showed the performance with various surprising presentations.
They use some of the very few large see-through screens in Japan for the stage production. The audience could not believe their eyes when they saw the huge scale of the images and the unreal beautiful water surface. In “Evolution No.9”, the audience saw scenes that closely resemble a jungle environment where members wearing fairy like costumes march past. These costumes also had a father surprise. In the darkness, the costumes lit up with florescent lights and the members preformed a dance. It was so amazing.

They also performed their popular song “Re:” and the latest one “With You/With Me.” Then, the venue got really lively.

During the MC section, Unika Kawashima announced that “We will release our 3rd album titled “MAGI9 PLAYLAND (pronounce: Magic Playland) on June 18!” To hear that, the audience broke into loud cheers.

9nine wrapped up the Nakano live in great success. You should not take your eyes off of them!
