It was announced via their official blog that THE Possible will be moving to PICCOLO TOWN and Up-Front Works and will be releasing a triple A-side single “Never Never Give Up/Omotesando/Futakotamagawa” (release date: July 8).
THE Possible started out as Hello Pro Eggs (now called Hello Pro Kenshuusei) and had spent a few years on different record labels under TNX management after they graduated from Hello! Project in 2007. While they had been known for a long time as being one of the must-see groups when it came to idol lives, their path to their current success had not always been a straight and narrow one.
Recently, with the formation of the former Hello Pro Egg “super group” Team Makenki, which also includes You Kikkawa and UPUPGIRLS (KARI) in 2014, it seemed like THE POSSIBLE was finally starting to enjoy the success and attention that they had worked so hard for. Having survived rumors of disbandment in 2012, THE Possible completed their first national tour which was highlighted by “Iwai THE POSSIBOOOOO Japan Tour 2014~ 8-nen Kakarimashitawa~FINAL” at the legendary Nakano Sun Plaza on November 16, 2014.
“Never Never Give Up/Omotesando/Futakotamagawa” will be released in 6 different versions: a first press limited edition version with a DVD and 5 CD-only regular versions. The 5 different regular versions will include acoustic solo versions of “Omotesando”: Yurika Akiyama (Type-A), Robin Shoko Okada (Type-B), Yuki Goto (Type-C), Aina Hashimoto (Type-D), Kanami Morozuka (Type-E). As the single was just announced, more details will be sure to come soon!
THE Possible has also just started “THE Possible LIVE Tour 2015 Haru〜Migoro Tabegoro Possigoro〜♡” so be sure to check them out as 2015 might be just the start of more amazing things to come for this group! Anything is possible if you never never give up!
