Yumemiru Adolescence show off their cool and kawaii sides in the MVs for their first singles of 2017: “Koi no Effect MAGIC” and “Idol Race” (release date: January 18)!
“Koi no Effect MAGIC” has the members dancing cutely and sitting at a fancy banquet table in shining pink and gold outfits. Midway through, the video shifts to the popular “behind the scenes” trope. “Koi no Effect Magic” was composed by Motoki Omori (Mrs. GREEN APPLE).
Despite using the same set and outfits as “Koi no Effect MAGIC”, the MV for “Idol Race” is hard and aggressive, kind of like an update to “Stealth Bukai 25:00” with its use of synthesizer parts and spotlights on the members in a dark room. With lyrics that incorporate the MIX used by otaku all over the world and headbanging, the chances of this song quickly becoming a fan favorite are extremely high! “Idol Race” was composed by Takuya Koyama (Yabai T-Shirts Yasan).
“Koi no Effect MAGIC” and “Idol Race” are limited to 20,000 copies and will be accompanied by a Osaka/Nagoya/Tokyo tour which brings Yumemiru Adolescence back to Zepp Diver City on January 19th.
