URBANGARDE Release Edgy Village Vanguard Exclusive Limited Edition Collaboration School Uniform!

URBANGARDE have teamed up with manga artist Usamaru Furuya (Suicide Circle, No Longer Human, etc.) to release a new line of Village Vanguard limited edition goods that will be sure to spice up your wardrobe!

Named the “Mae-gami Pattsun Sailor Fuku”, the limited edition product takes the Japanese schoolgirl outfit often worn on stage by vocalist Yoko Hamasaki and adds to it a Furuya illustration of a young girl’s face with her bangs falling in regimented straight lines down her forehead. “Pattsun” is a Japanese onomatopoeia used to describe straight bangs. Think Kashiyuka from Perfume or obviously, Yoko Hamasaki.

The look is completed by “URBANGARDE Bloody Circle Knee Socks”, as well as a ribbon and arm band sporting the red and white polka-dot motif that URBANGARDE is known for. Included with the outfit is a photobook titled “Chiisa na Tsumi no Hana” (Tiny Flower of Sin). Photographed by Keisuke Hasegawa, the theme of the book is “shoujo” and “cursed idol” group jyujyu appear in the book alongside Yoko Hamasaki in some very disturbing scenes.

Unfortunately, the “Mae-gami Pattsun Sailor Fuku” is not available directly for overseas purchase from Village Vanguard but, perhaps you can try using a service like tenso.com if you absolutely must have it?
