The latest artist photo of Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku has been released.
They will release new single “Ume” on 16th, Jan, 2013.
While most Japanese artists are singing songs about Sakura (cherry blossom), they will start year 2013 with song about Ume (plum) .
In Japan, cherry blossom is symbolic theme for songs but plum is not so popular to sing about, and it was popular in old age, about 1000 years ago.
Kenichi Maeyamada composed and produced the new song. He is the “Ongaku Shunin” (music teacher) of Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku.
The single will include another song “Ganbatteru Tochu.”
Takashi Ikeda (Ike-chan) produced the song for TV program “Ebichu no Eien ni Chugaku-sei” that Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku regularly perform.

Ebichu performed as guest artist in Tamurapan’s tour final stage in SHIBUYA-AX on 30th, Nov.
Tamurapan, who produced 2 songs for Ebichu, and Ebichu performed together in the first time.
On 2nd, Dec. 5th live and birth day event of Rika Mayama “Mayama Rika Seitansai -Chugakusei Zengakunen Hokan Keikaku-” will be on stage in Lala port Kashiwanoha, Chiba, as their live tour “Winter Defstar Gokujo tour 2012-2013 – KING OF GAKUGEEEEKAI of CHU of LIFE-”
Rika Mayama will be 16 years old on 16th Dec, perform solo stage as commemoration live.
