Aika Hirota Announces Graduation From Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku

Aika Hirota announced her graduation from Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku via LINE LIVE on August 31, 2017 with her final performance to take place at Nippon Budokan on January 3, 2018.
In a blog post on the same evening, she described it as “transferring” (tenkou). Having turned 18, she felt as if there were still many things that she wanted to do and did not want to regret not being able to do them. Hirota shared that because she was not good at working as a group, she had consulted about a “transfer” from the very beginning and expressing her surprise that she had made it through 8 years already. Even though she had often thought about leaving, she thanked the fans for supporting her and motivating her to keep going.
