SUPER☆GiRLS Show Off Their Dazzling MV for “Gira Gira Revolution”!

SUPER☆GiRLS have revealed the MV for their upcoming 12th single “Gira Gira Revolution” (release date: February 18, 2015).

The MV was shown for the first time before the encore of their solo concert “SUPER☆GiRLS LIVE 2015” at Tokyo Dome City Hall on January 10th. The song is described as being a return to “Supa-Ga Rock”, a term describing the upbeat energetic sound of the group’s popular songs like “Hanamichi!! Ambitious”, “Joshiryoku←Paradise”, and “1,000,000☆Smile”.

Mixed in with footage of SUPER☆GiRLS dancing in their new outfits, which are highlighted by paint spattered leather jackets, are scenes of the members doing various things. Rino Katsuta, Ami Maeshima, Risa Uchimura cook up some magical pancakes. Rika Shimura, Koume Watanabe, and Mirei Tanaka read books while looking very studious. Reira Arai, Nana Asakawa, and Ruka Mizote try on “ama-loli” fashions. Aya Goto, Hikaru Watanabe, and Rina Miyazaki actually don’t seem to be doing anything in particular as they laze around in tracksuits.

“Gira Gira Revolution” is being used in commercials for Tokyu Snow Resort and Autobacs. Check out the commercial for Tokyo Snow Resort below.
