A New Rock Unit “SRAM” from “LinQ” Reveals the First Introduction Video!

LinQ, an idol group based in Hakata, Fukuoka, will start up new ROCK unit named “SRAM.”
Their home town, Hakata, has been called “Liverpool of Japan.” Music culture, especially ROCK music, has taken deep root in the city. The ROCK movement born in Hakata has been called ‘Mentai Rock’ named after its local speciality, Mentaiko.
“SRAM” was named combining the first letter of honorable senior Mentai Rock bands’ name, such as SUN HOUSE, SHEENA & THE ROCKETS, THE ROOSETERS, TH eROCKERS, ARB, THE MODS, and MODERN DOLLZ.
They will represent a new style of ROCK that is particular to Hakata, Fukuoka.
SRAM is formed with 5 members : SARA, ROU, AYA, MYU, and LADY K. Their first performance will be showcased during LinQ’s concert will be held on November 23rd at FUKUOKA INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS CENTER. They will cover “Lemon Tea” of SUN HOUSE and “LET’S ROCK (DANDAN)” of THE ROOSETERS, as their first project. Moreover, the limited single CD will be on sale at the venue.
