HKT48 go looking for excitment and pay a heartfelt farewell to a beloved member in the MVs for “Saiko kayo” and “Yume Hitotsu” from their 8th single “Saiko kayo” (release date: September 7)!

Hana Matsuoka leads the charge as HKT48 take to the streets in search of the components of the customary “MIX” shouted out at idol lives (Yossha Ikuzo!!! Tiger! Fire! Cyber! Fiber! Diver! Viber! Jaa Jaa!!!) using homemade-looking listening devices. The song was first performed on August 15th at the iichiko Grand Theater in Rino Sashihara’s home prefecture of Oita for HKT48’s tour finale. Because the lyrics are mostly made up of phrases and words idol otaku already say, even though it was the first time, the fans were able to get into the song right away.

Just when you thought you were over the graduation of former Team H captain Chihiro Anai, who left in July to devote herself to university and to study abroad, the MV for her graduation song “Yume Hitotsu” has also been released. Combined with archived footage from her career in HKT48, Chihiro is shown with her “nakama”, the members she was really close to. As the former captain, it wouldn’t be surprising if everyone in the group ends up making an appearance.

“Yume Hitotsu” was also performed for the first time at HKT48’s tour final on August 15th, with Chihiro making a surprise appearance during the song, causing the members and fans to burst into tears. Here are the pictures from that evening!

“Saiko kayo” will be released in 3 CD/DVD versions and a theater version. Type-A includes the song “Yume Hitotsu” by Chihiro Anai and nakama. Type-B includes the song “Yozora no Tsuki wo Nomikomou” by Team H. Type-C includes the song “Go Bananas!” by Team KIV. The coupling song for all versions is “Soramimi Rock” by Team TII. Each of the DVDs include the MVs for the songs on the CD and volume 1-3 of the members of HKT48 on a field trip (HKT48 no Danketsu Shuugaku Ryokou).
