Prepare to be hit hard emotionally as Sae Miyazawa is joined by members of original Team K in the preview of the MV for her graduation song “Tabi no Tochuu” from SKE48‘s 19th single “Chicken LINE” (release date: March 30)!
The main theme of the MV is Sae packing up which is a metaphor for her graduation from the 48 group family after 10 years but, the highlight is definitely seeing the members of Team K on screen again, starting with Yuko Oshima and Sayaka Akimoto. While the word “friends” was used in the title of this article, the term used for the members participating in “Tabi no Tochuu” is “nakama” (仲間) which has a much stronger connotation, appropriate to describe the young women that she shed blood, sweat, and tears with during her time as an idol. This is one of those rare cases where it’s a good thing that this is only a preview because longtime fans might not be able to handle this much nostalgia all at once!
Here are some screencaps!
“Chicken LINE” will be released in 4 limited edition versions, 4 regular versions, a PriPara version, as well as the theater version, which is only available at mu-mo. The coupling song for all versions is “Houenkyou no nai Tenmondai” by the Passion For You Senbatsu.
