NGT48 Join Hands With Niigata in the MV for Their Debut Single “Seishun Dokei”!

NGT48 reach out to the people of Niigata with the MV for their debut single “Seishun Dokei” (release date: April 12)!
Opening with Rika Nakai finding a young boy in the middle of downtown Niigata, she joins hands with the other members as they lead the townspeople in a dance similar to AKB48’s “Koi Suru Fortune Cookie”. Scenes where NGT48 encourage a few couples to hold hands are reminiscent of how AKB48 played cupid in “Love Trip”. There’s even a scene including 2 young women publicly displaying their affection for each other. It’s likely that they might just be friends or sisters since one of the “couples” look like mother and son? The community outreach continues as they organize the locals to spell out “NGT48” using their bodies.
“Seishun Dokei” will be released in 3 limited edition CD/DVD version and a regular CD version. The coupling song is titled “Akikan Punk”. The Type-A exclusive track is “Shutsujin”, the Type-B exclusive track is “Junjō Yoroshiku”, the Type-C exclusive track is “Kurayami Motomu”, and the regular version exclusive track is “Shita no Na de Yobetano wa…”. The limited editions include a ticket which can be used to attend a handshake event or apply for a special present and 1 of 78 (3 types x 26 members) randomly selected photos.
