J-pop superstar Namie Amuro has joined up with virtual idol Hatsune Miku in the MV for their collaboration song “B Who I Want 2 B” from her 12th album “_genic” (release date: June 10, 2015).
Set in “Neo Tokyo”, the 2D Namie Amuro and Hatsune Miku seem to glide through the 3D backgrounds as they battle each other in virtual reality before deciding to team up and rock the roof off of the club together.
Leading up to the release of the MV, the duo appeared on a special web limited cover of NYLON JAPAN. NYLON even featured a behind the scenes clip from the MV which shows Miku and Namie chatting and joking on the set.
Composed and produced by UK artist SOPHIE, “B Who I Want 2 B” combines the voices of the two divas with bubbly and bouncy instrumentation.
As if it wasn’t enough that Namie Amuro collaborated with Hatsune Miku after releasing an album full of amazing songs and 5 MVs, a special app, namie amuro 3D camera, which allows you to put 4 different 3D models of her from any angle in your pictures, has been released.
