Morning Musume.’14 To Unveil New Members At Nippon Budokan On September 30!

On September 14, Morning Musume ’14 held their 17th anniversary party at Shinagawa Stellar Ball in Tokyo. The new single “TIKI BUN” was performed for the first time in front of 1,500 fans.
The event started off with “TKI BUN” which will be released on October 15. The live version of the EDM pop gave a tremendous boost to the floor straight away. The setlist of the day was filled with club-arranged songs, MM ’14 happily captivated the fans the whole time.
The thing is, a letter from Tsunku♂ came on stage. Although a letter from the man is a familiar element for Hello! Project idols and fans, what it says is always unfamiliar. The letter revealed that Morning Musume ’14 will release their 14th album on October 29th, and the newest members will be unveiling at Nippon Budokan for the first time on September 30.
According to the letter, the album title is “Chapter 14 ~ The message ~“, Tsunku♂ decided it to put the message of love to everyone from him and the members. The album is going to include some unit songs too. Sayumi said, “There is a song on the album that makes you feel warm and cozy, I particularly recommend the song.”
In a public press conference held during the event, the most kawaii leader informed her heart about the group’s 17th anniversary.
“Morning Musume has made it this far because of you, staff, and great seniors. I want to thank all of you that we can celebrate it with the fans like this, and begin our 18th year. After having new members on September 30 and my graduation, we will once again become a new Morning Musume. This group will keep evolving for next 10, 20, 100 years, so please keep seeing what happens!”
When Riho Sayashi was asked about the next single, “It is our leader’s last single as well, so we’ll put our everything to lead to a good result.”

The live part was restarted again, including their recent killer tune “OK YEAH!” three songs were performed without a break. They topped the anniversary off with an aggressive live version of “What is LOVE?“.
