Finally, Momoclo released its 10th Single “GOUNN” on November 6th!!

On November 6th, the new single “GOUNN” was finally released from Momoiro Clover Z! Did you try it? If not, you can get it on iTunes!!
“GOUNN” was the first new single in 2013, and it’s been about 1 year since the release of the last single “Saraba, Itoshiki Kanashimi Tachi Yo”, which was performed at the 63rd NHK Red and White Singing Contest (the 63rd NHK Kohaku Utagassen). With “GOUNN”, they target participation in the next NHK contest this year!
The title tune “GOUNN” attracts conspicuous attentions because of the collaboration of a lot of famous artists, including NARASAKI, Hama Okamoto, Pierre Nakano and ASA-CHANG. The composer is Shihori, and lyrics are written by Natsumi Tadano. According to the comments from the members of Momoclo, the theme of this song is “Finding ideal self”. Music Video with vivid image is broadcasted on YouTube, so let’s check it.
The coupling track “Itsuka Kimiga” which information had been veiled until right before its release, is lovely and shiny tune like the track “Hashire!”. This track is composed by miwa, and the lyrics are written by the members of Momoclo and miwa cooperatively. Given the theme of this track “Autumn”, members of Momoclo think of the lyrics. miwa writes the main chorus part and arranges the whole. According to miwa, each part is written by the member who sings the part, and she puts thankfulness to the members and message to “Mononofu” (fan of Momoclo) into its main chorus part.
The coupling track only for the Normal Edition, “Momoiro Daiko DodongaBushi”, is written, composed, arranged and executed by Dohatsuten, A member of Dohatsuten has praised Momoclo many times, so this is long-awaited collaboration.
Previous day of the release (November 5th), Momoka Ariyasu (Green) and Reni Takagi (Purple) made a surprise visit at Tower Record in Shibuya, and they advertised their new single. Furthermore on the release day (November 6th), Kanako Momota (Red) and Reni Takagi (Purple) visited Wakkanai city in Hokkaido, the northern top of Japan as campaign, and they enjoyed communication with Mononofu.
Only the performance in Miyagi is left for their nationwide tour “Momoiro Clover Z Japan Tour 2013 ‘GOUNN’”, and after that, the season of “Momoiro Christmas” comes.
